Some Aspects of my Neighborhood
In November of 1967 I returned from a year's tour in Viet-Nam and was assigned to a Post in NYC. I managed to secure a weekend retreat in Manhattan, sharing a one room, cold water studio with an elderly Russian Jewish Sculptor. This photograph was taken from the fire escape outside the one window.

Dear Sam,
I am impressed with your blog, very creative and inspiring. I am selling my art work at Pioneer Square tomorrow. I will be with a musician who plays the harmonica. I am bringing my service animal along who can bark along to the music. My dog has three legs and he is quite special.
I enjoyed your signing at church and the reading of the famous Unitarian Pickett. Some very famous Unitarians were never members.
Peace
